As part of the Kroger family of brands, Smith's Food and Drug is one of the most popular choices for local supermarkets. Families love cruising the spacious and well-stocked items to do their grocery shopping, and you can always count on a friendly smile from Smith's Food and Drug employees along the way. Kroger's entire family of brands participates in the same loyalty program called Community Rewards, which enables you to donate a percentage of your spending at any Kroger brand to community-based charities. Kroger donates more than $45 million a year through this program to organizations that support Hunger Relief, Women's Health, Children's Health and Wellbeing, and many other causes.

How does Kroger Community Rewards work?

You'll first need to choose your preferred charity from within your rewards account on the Smith's Food and Drug website. Then, when you shop at Smith's Food and Drug (or any other supermarket in the Kroger family), just identify yourself as a rewards member via your Shopper’s Card number. Each year Kroger makes a donation to a number of participating organizations, with the amount donated directly related to the percentage of your spending.

Smith's Food and Drug Credit Card Rewards

You can earn 2% Cash Back at Smith's Food and Drug if you have the World Elite Mastercard. You'll be eligible for the cashback on most Smith's Food and Drug purchases, but note that Kroger Fuel Centers do not earn rewards. In addition, Smith's Food and Drug purchases made through third party delivery and/or checkout services will not earn points. Your rewards expire 36 months from the date of issue and are only available for redemption if your account is open and in good standing.

How to Redeem Smith's Food and Drug Credit Card Rewards

Your Smith's Food and Drug World Elite Mastercard Rewards can be redeemed via a credit against your monthly bill. You can also redeem 1,000 rewards points in real time with every 1,000 points being worth $10. Rewards can also be redeemed in increments of 2,500 points the form of a $25  Smith's Food and Drug Gift Card, which can be used at any Kroger brand supermarket.

The full list of Kroger supermarkets is: Baker's, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less Foods Co, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Gerbes, Jay C Food Store, King Soopers, Kroger, Mariano's, Metro Market, Pay-Less Super Markets, Pick'n Save, QFC, Ralphs, Ruler, and Smith's Food and Drug.
