Program Overview

How Does it Work?

ScoreCard members earn 1 point for every $1 spent at any brand in the Dick's family, including Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Field & Stream, Public Lands, and Going, Going, Gone. Once you reach 300 points you'll be entitled to a $10 reward. This is equivalent to earning 3.33% back on all your purchases.

Status Levels

There are 2 status levels in the ScoreCard loyalty program. Each of these status levels comes with unique benefits, with the value increasing as you level up.

ScoreCard Level

The first level, called ScoreCard, offers great benefits such as Free Shipping on orders of $49 or more, insider access to offers, deals and products, and faster online checkout. In addition, you can connect the fitness tracker, MOVE, to your ScoreCard account in order to earn bonus points. This is an entry-level status that is conferred to members as soon as they enter the program. Since the program is free to join, all of these benefits will be yours before you even make a purchase at Dick's.

ScoreCard Gold

In order to become a Gold member at ScoreCard, you'll need to spend at least $0 per year or be an active ScoreRewards credit card holder. Once you become a Gold member, you'll maintain all your ScoreCard benefits, plus you'll get a Triple Points Day during which you can earn 3x points on all purchases. Gold members also receive a $10 reward each year, which can be used on most items across the entire Dick's family of brands, as well as access to a dedicated customer service line and special Gold Member offers.

ScoreRewards Credit Card

Not only do ScoreCard members who hold the ScoreRewards Credit Card earn Gold status automatically, but they also get double the points as other members. Your 2 points per $1 spent can still be cashed in for a $10 reward every time you reach 300 points, except this now happens much quicker. Because of this increased rate of earning, you'll see your 3.33% back in rewards double to 6.66% back. This is a fantastic overall value that is exclusive to Dick's Credit Card holders.

And the benefits of the ScoreRewards Credit Card don't stop there. You'll also get a $30 Bonus Reward for shopping on the day you open the card as well as 1 point for every $ you spend outside of the Dick's family of brands. Lastly, special 24-month financing is available for cardholders.

Field & Stream and Dick's

In March 2023, Dick's Sporting Goods made significant changes in its approach to one of its popular portfolio brands, Field & Stream. In an effort to create an immersive and hands-on in-store experience, Dick's has decided to integrate Field & Stream into its House of Sport concept. All 17 remaining Field & Stream stores will undergo a transformation into House of Sport locations, with 12 of these stores already closed as of March 2023. The remaining Field & Stream stores will transition into House of Sport outlets or large-format Dick's stores by 2024.

Dick's House of Sport Concept

Dick's Sporting Goods introduces its House of Sport concept as "a place for connection and play," providing an interactive and engaging environment for sports enthusiasts. These stores offer more than just shopping, featuring climbing walls, batting cages, and golf simulators. Additionally, essential equipment services like baseball glove steaming and racquet stringing are available, further enhancing the overall customer experience.

Currently, Dick's has only three House of Sport locations located in Rochester, New York, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Minnetonka, Minnesota. But over the next year, the company plans to open nine more, including the conversion of eight existing Dick's and Field & Stream combination stores, with an additional ten locations in the pipeline. This expansion means that House of Sport locations will soon be found in major American cities such as Boston, Pittsburgh, Binghamton, New York, and Chesapeake, Virginia. The company aims to establish a network of 75 to 100 House of Sport locations by 2028.
