That's a total rewards value of 3.33% which is not bad considering that auto parts can be high ticket items. It's very hard to compare apples to apples here as your AutoZone Reward is worth a flat $20 after 5 purchases of $20 or more. That means if you bought something at AutoZone for $20 five different times, your $20 reward would be worth 20% (i.e. a $20 reward after $100 of spending), but if you bought something for $200 five times, your $20 reward would represent only 2% of your total purchase volume (i.e. a $20 reward on $1,000 of spending).

So that answer about whether AutoZone Rewards or O'Reilly O'Rewards is better really comes down to the total amount you're planning on spending at each retailer. If you're going to be consistently spending on low ticket items then AutoZone is probably your best bet. But if you'll be spending on a range of items at various prices, you might prefer just to take a solid 3.33% earnings rate and join up with O'Reilly O'Rewards
