Tracking Your Bloomingdale's Order Status
Bloomingdale's provides an order tracker within your personal account on the Bloomingdale's website. You'll find a 'Order Status & History' button under the
'Orders' section in your dashboard. The default display is 24 months, which means any orders you're expecting to track should definitely be displayed here. If you don't see your order, you can utilize the convenient lookup feature and simply enter your order number into the search box. If you can't locate your order number, check the top of your confirmation email or receipt. Do keep in mind that Bloomingdale's separates your online orders from your in-store purchases, so if you've ordered anything in store that is being delivered, those orders will appear in a separate list.
Bloomingdale's Order Tracking Number
To track an order, you'll want to select the it from the list and look for a tracking number. If you don't see a tracking number when checking your order online, it means your order is still in the processing phase and hasn't shipped out yet. If you do see a tracking number, it means that the order has shipped and the item is in transit. Once you click on the tracking number, you'll leave the Bloomingdale's website and you'll be taken to the website of the delivery carrier. Bloomingdale's ships orders via UPS, FedEx or USPS, and each of these companies has slightly different ways of updating their system and the tracking information that is displayed on their website. You may not see your item's location in their system, but that doesn't mean it's lost. As a general rule of thumb, it may take up to 24 hours for a carrier's website to display your Bloomingdale's tracking information, even if the tracking number is already displayed. Most carriers will show an update in their system with each step in the package's journey, which makes it easy to understand exactly where your item is. But some carriers,
such as USPS, display less detailed information and may only update their system when the package leaves the Bloomingdale's warehouse and then once again after the final delivery. In any case, you'll be able to see the date your package shipped and its estimated delivery date. This will help you plan for when you'll receive your order and to make any adjustments necessary in case there's a delay.
Scheduling & Tracking Furniture and Mattress Deliveries at Bloomingdale's
Because furniture and mattresses often come from different warehouses and require different delivery methods, Bloomingdale's has a separate system of
scheduling and tracking furniture and mattresses deliveries. Once purchased, you have a window of 60 days in which to schedule your furniture or mattress delivery, and if it's not done within that time frame, Bloomingdale's will cancel your order. To schedule delivery, access your Bloomingdale's account and look for the 'Furniture & Mattress Delivery' button. Within that section you can schedule a delivery or check the status of your order. If you've set up your delivery and you want to check the status of your furniture or mattress order, you'll need your sales check number, phone number, and your first and last name. Once you submit that, just click 'Delivery Status' and you'll be taken to a page with the information you need.
Changing or Canceling Your Bloomingdale's Order
If you act quickly, you may be able to change or cancel your Bloomingdale's order after it has been placed. For online orders you generally have a 30-minute window during which you can make adjustments to your order or cancel it outright. However if you've ordered something for in-store pickup you have just 15 minutes to change your mind. This 15-minute window also applies to orders that qualify for same-day delivery. Order changes may include basic adjustments to the item's color or size, or adding and removing items. You can also change your shipping information or phone number without a problem as long as it's within the allotted time frame. Information that pertains to the payment and billing of the order, however, cannot be changed at any time. If you do want to cancel your order after the adjustment period ends, you can get in touch with the delivery carrier and ask them to reroute your package back to Bloomingdale's. You can also refuse delivery once the order reaches you. Just tell the driver to take it back to Bloomingdale's and they'll process your refund within 10 days of receiving the returned package.
